Every other month, we send a pre-loved book chosen for your taste (or your recipients)
Each pick is pre-matched by us, based on a short preferences form
Choose from:
6 months gift (3 books) - £30
12 months gift (6 books) - £60
You get a downloadable gift card, so that last minute present is sorted
What makes Verse different
We have tested many, many subscriptions on the market. It’s our go-to gift for each other, and our favourite kind of present.
We’ve created Verse subscriptions to meet the gaps we’ve found:
Pre-loved and planet kind. All Verse books in our subscriptions and bookstore are pre-loved. This means that the subscriptions can be priced slightly less than others, whilst being better for the planet.
Personal. Each book is hand-matched by us, tailored to the recipient. We don’t send the same book out at scale, and this isn’t chosen by the algorithm.
Surprisingly accessible. Through focusing on pre-loved books we can deliver the experience at a great price, and also get a mix of new releases (yes-hardbacks!) and older gems into your hands. This is not about sending you paperbacks at scale, or cutting a deal to promote a certain book.
